Now I've been told I have a positive effect on people, but this has got to be a record new love affair. I'm talking about Kameel, the stately pepper-haired owner of Aviva. I had just spent the last 10-12 minutes in line waiting for my turn to order. Just when I was close enough to the counters to read the overhead digital menu I hear this pleasant fatherly voice say "Hello my brother, welcome, I LOVE YOU!"
WTW? (what the what)
It was enough to make a heterosexual man 18073845 question himself, cuz I kinda liked it! But then he told the dude behind me he loved him too, then the girl behind the dude and then the dude behind the girl! What kinda hippie dippie love-in is going on here?!?! LOL
THE EXPERIENCE
Seriously, I would chalk that up to being a gimmicky on most other occasions, but this guy makes you believe it! I'm talking the warm 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee and fuzzies people!!! The line was out the door and down the hall when we arrived around noon. Seemed like everyone and their mother working in the downtown area decided to eat lunch here, but thankfully the lines move fairly quick. I got a chance to laugh and talk with a few of the regulars whom also gave me some tips on the best things to order. One of my best buds was with me and we both agreed to order something different and split our meals. When we finally made it to the ordering counter, Kameel was enthusiastically waiting to greet us. Enthusiastic might actually be an understatement! Pumped might be a better word.

Music: I heard a harp when I saw and smelled the food, but that might have been in my head.
