For those of you who 19470608 are scared to drive in the hood (There are a lot of you) I will totally blow the lid on this popular Burger joint and give you the 411 on what's what when it comes to Hawkins House of Burgers
*I find it really interesting that out of the # of yelp friends I have that only a few have been here. Maybe it's because of the area 19470608 and the irrational fear from my friends that they will get shot and killed while trying to get a burger. DUDE..... There are more unsafe areas in West Covina and POMONA. I feel more unsafe in certain parts of DTLA BRO. It's not bad. Don't be afraid.....Seriously.
Jr. Burger: Their smallest burger, I opted to go with this burger because frankly #1 I don't give a shit about ordering a huge burger just for a photo op. #2 I hate eating a burger that I can't even fit in my mouth, 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee having to use a fork, and having the toppings fall apart with the bun... If you're a girl or if you just like eating a burger without the hassle of that shit trust me when I say to get the Jr. Burger. It's about the size of a double double from In-n-out. It is perfect. That is the reason why I got 2.
Taste: GREASY. I asked for no salt on my burger like how I always do for all burgers and it tasted very heavy... Not like the "I'm satisfied 19470608 cause I'm full Heavy" but the "Damn that was dripping in grease"... The burger didn't pop in my mouth and it tasted very average. Even with all the fixings of toppings (Grilled mushrooms, lettuce, Grilled Onions) the burger just tasted mediocre at best.
*I highly only recommend getting their regular burger. Do not get the DOUBLE patty. It will be enormous and you won't be able to fit it in your mouth... (THATS WHAT SHE SAID) Though, if you're there like a lot of the other fools who are just there to take a photo then be my guest.... However, you've been warned.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
