I enjoy visiting restaurants that are "hyped". So many reviews are written about this place, that it was time to check it out. For the most part, 7273209 it did not disappoint. This place is tiny and unpretentious. There are a few tables outside, but don't expect a patio. You're eating on the sidewalk, and it's Biscayne Blvd. You're here for the food. If you want ambiance, go someplace else. This is the kind of place I like to enjoy during off-peak hours. We decided on an early Sunday brunch. We got there only a couple of minutes after opening, and had to settle for an outside table. For a mild, beautiful morning in January, it was fine (for the most part...they need an awning).
I wasted no time in ordering what I came for; 7273209 the mac and cheese. It was excellent. Creamy, and with an unusual twist: they add mustard seeds. Bottom line? It works. We also had the veggie omelette plate, which was nice, but nothing spectacular. Finally it was on to the highly acclaimed bread pudding. It was very good, but I enjoy visiting restaurants that are "hyped". So many reviews are written about this place, that it was time to check it out. For the most part, it did not disappoint.
