My Mama always taught me to wake up 16439358 early and eat a hearty breakfast to get the day started. She also taught me that dumplings are a way of life in our Chinese-American household and I best be able to tell when I've had a fresh, homemade batch. Needless to say, I think I used my skills well here to uncover what is now one of my favorite spots in all of New York City.
After the recommendation of many friends, 16439358 we came here on our last morning in NYC for a quick breakfast. I didn't realize how hole-in-wall it could be till we walked in. It's essentially a small stand where you order from the counter, get your food a few minutes later, and chow down.
There was an array of choices to choose from including beef & chive soup dumplings, noodles, and scallion pancake wraps. I ordered two batches of these dumplings (each order coming with 8-10 pieces) and a roast duck pancake.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
