Many might think I'm crazy, but the meat wasn't all that awesome. Good, 20670830 but I think this place is overhyped.

I'll backtrack slightly here. The ambiance is cozy, with very rich tones in design. I would even call it a new school supper club feel. I loved the atmosphere and restaurant design.

I made reservations for four at 5:15pm, we were seated right away in a booth in the bar area. Water came quickly and our server was 20670830 there to take drinks orders. They have great drink selections, we settled on old fashions, and a Surly Darkness. Both excellent.

None of us had been here before and the server was more than happy to make suggestions. I liked that it wasn't a massive menu. We ordered all three of the appetizers, three sides, and the most popular 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee dish the Beef Long Rib. I was excited for my taste buds, like Christmas Day excited.

I didn't mention all of the dish names because it's not worth it. The wood grilled oysters were by far the best thing I ate, I'm salivating thinking about it. There's sort of a Parmesan crust on top, I could eat a hundred of them...well I'd only be able to afford a couple orders at this place. Of the meats 20670830 the Texas beef link, part of the sampler, should be ordered alone. It's the best link on there. The Turkey Braunschweiger mousse with jam spread on toast, I could have stolen from the table for myself. Lastly, the cedar plank mushrooms were meaty and savory, a great side choice.

We had many other items on our table but 20670830 it wasn't anything anyone was making "mmmm" noises over. The beef long rib was the biggest disappointment, it was bordering on dry. I could see the sadness on everyone's faces..

Overall, there wasn't anything horrible. They're 20670830 all good dishes, but it's like a Christmas gift let down. I like it, but it wasn't what I was expecting, so there's a small chance I regift it.

Service was great, but slowed towards the end. Drinks were taking longer. The busboy was super quick in clearing dishes and pouring water, so that was nice. If I came back I'd do drinks and a couple items at the bar.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
