*Undergraduate Association Senate Meeting*

I. Announcements
a. If you send a proxy, have a letter- it is in the laws
b. MacV day (Irina)
II. Report from Executives and Standing Committees
a. *Orientation*: speaking in regards to International students, etc.
making Orientation
b. *NomComm*: Will email faculty chairs, pick an optimal date for fac
and students to attend, Award Ceremony, will speak to others, Will put
together a schedule for NomComm Policies
c. *Housing*: Cultural House report, etc.
d. *Space*: Walker- went well, GPM, changes in policy
e. *Dining*: looking for committee members- tough, need more mass
emails and luring ppl with food, etc.
f. *SCEP*: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, bldg 10, and violation cards, RBA- long
time future? (MCC and Next)
g. New printer, new mailboxes, new door hinges, new door access, new
gig-router for the office, all coming up!
III. Review 38 UAS 6 Minutes
a. Approved
b. YAY
IV. Review of Finboard Appeals numbers
V. 38 UAS 7.1 - Bill to Allocate Funds for FSILG Legal Retreat
a. Frats need help with legal situations (like Phi Delts and BU)
b. Dredger to help Frats, but is somewhat expensive
c. Ben N: Should UA funding be going to Frats when there are other
funding (national chapters) sources
d. Lowell: Might be a good leadership event
e. Legal v. Financial: There are Financial info events that MIT holds,
but not legal
f. TABLING BILL, until Dwight comes back
VI. New Business
a. FinBoard Appeals Numbers
b. Meeting 2nd weekend in March, dealing with capital funds
c. Some groups requested less money
d. Motion to approve appeals, seconded, vote passed
VII. Good of the Order Announcements
a. Blue Salt, making snow blue
b. Next meeting in one week!
c. Food
