CAIRO Egypt's state news agency says a hard-line Islamist preacher has
been arrested for slandering a famous actress by accusing her of "practicing
prostitution."In December, Abdullah Badr was sentenced to a year in prison
and fined for his remarks about Elham Chahine on el-Hafiz TV, which
is associated with the ultraconservative Salafi movement.MENA says his appeal
was rejected earlier this week and police arrested him Wednesday in the
Delta Sharqia province after he failed to turn himself in.Chahine sued Badr
after he accused her on his show of "practicing prostitution" and teaching
Egyptian women how to "be immoral and commit adultery." His remarks came
after she criticized radical Islamists for their view of the arts.Chahine's
lawyer complained the actress had been exposed to "insults, cursing and
humiliation."
The U.S. has identified the mastermind of the Benghazi attack, sources tell
Fox News, though the individual apparently is walking free in Libya. The
confirmation from multiple sources comes more than seven months after the
assault on two U.S. locations in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans --
including Ambassador Chris Stevens -- were killed. President Obama pledged
after the attack that "justice will be done."But one source told Fox
News the government is "sitting on" information."We basically don't want
to upset anybody, and the problem is, if Ambassador Stevens' family knew
that we were sitting on information about the people who killed their
son, their brother, on and on, then, and we could look them
as a government in the face, then we're messing up. We're messing
up," the source said.Fox News spoke exclusively with one special operator
who watched the events unfold in real time and has debriefed those
who were part of the response. He remains anonymous for his safety
and has decided to talk because he says he and others connected
with the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks in Benghazi are frustrated with the
excuses and lack of a military response since Stevens and three other
Americans were killed."We have all the capability, all the training, all
the capacity, to kill and capture not only terrorists involved, with the
specific events of 9/11, and Ambassador Stevens' death, but terrorists that
are feeding other regions including Europe th

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">President Obama said he is unaware of longstanding efforts by Republican
lawmakers to question survivors of the Benghazi attacks but pledged to investigate
the issue.Im not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked
from testifying, the president said during a White House news conference
on Tuesday. So what Ill do is I will find out what
exactly youre referring to.Obamas pledge to find out more came as officials
at the State Department pushed back against allegations -- first aired Monday
on Fox News -- that career employees at the agency have been
threatened if they furnish new information about the Benghazi attacks to
members of Congress. The State Department is deeply committed to meeting
its obligation to protect employees, and the State Department would never
tolerate -- tolerate or sanction -- retaliation against whistle-blowers
on any issue, including this one, spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters
at a briefing on Tuesday. Thats an obligation we take very seriously
-- full stop.Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens,
were killed in terrorist attacks on U.S. installations in the port city
of Benghazi, Libya, on the night of Sept. 11, 2012. While the
FBI investigation into the attacks continues, no known instances of any
perpetrators being brought to justice have yet been reported.Rep. Darrell
Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee,
will hold the fi
By a 54-41 percent margin, American voters would get rid of the
sweeping 2010 health care law if given the option, according to a
new Fox News poll. The poll, released Wednesday, also shows most voters --
71 percent -- think the more than 15,000 pages of regulations that
implement the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare, are way
over the top. Some 19 percent say that number of pages seems
about right. The concern about the small mountain of health care rules is
bipartisan. Even 56 percent of Democrats call the 15,000 pages of regulations
way over the top, as do 71 percent of independents and 87
percent of Republicans. As for the law itself, the poll asks people what
they would do with it if there were an up-or-down vote today. While
a 54-percent majority would repeal the law, 41 percent would keep it
in place. Thats mostly unchanged from two years ago, when 56 percent
said they would cancel it and 39 percent wanted the law to
remain (January 2011).On the law itself views are divided along partisan
lines. By a 48 percentage-point margin, most Democrats favor keeping Obamacare
(72-24 percent), while Republicans favor repealing it by an even wider 77-point
margin (87-10 percent). Independents also favor repeal, but by a narrower
16-point margin (53-37 percent).Voters give President Obama negative ratings
on health care. By a 10-point margin, more disapprove (53 percent) than
approve (43 percent) of his job performance. Thats the
