assumed that human trafficking occurs only in foreign countries, but it
is happening in American cities as well.Gangs like MS-13 operate prostitution
rings in the D.C. area, often nabbing young immigrants and exploiting them.
The vast majority of those trafficked are women and children.According to
the State Department 800,000 people are trafficked across international
borders each year. That does not include trafficking within a specific country's

not commented on the invitation. But the remark comes after a Politico.com
report said Biden told law enforcement officials Thursday that he's preparing
to launch a new gun control push.According to Politico, he's planning more
trips to talk about the need for expanded background checks and tougher
gun-trafficking laws, though he reportedly hadn't "really discussed" this

measures 20 feet long and is designed specifically to attack hardened concrete

base has been ordered to serve three months in jail after pleading
guilty to having sex with a male student.A military judge in San
Antonio on Thursday also ordered Staff Sgt. Emily Allen to do 30
days of hard labor and reduced her rank to airman first class.Allen
was the first woman among more than 30 instructors at Joint Base
San Antonio-Lackland charged in what has turned into the military branch's
worst sex scandal.She pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a male
airman in 2011, seeking to have a sexual relationship with another male
trainee plus having unprofessional social relationships with two female
students.
