[Mit-talk] UA off-campus senators

I emailed the two candidates for UA off-campus senator, and I received
a response from one. I thought I'd forward it here, for lack of a
useful mailing list for "undergrads who live off-campus."

Hi John,

I am senior in Course 6. I live in an apartment on the Boston side of
Mass Ave, and I realize that unaffiliated off-campus students are an
often neglected component of the MIT environment. I intend to support
programs that broaden the perspective of MIT students (both on- and
off-campus) to areas south of Comm Ave and north of Harvard Square. My
hope is that students will take advantage of the Greater Boston
area--beyond 77 Mass Ave.

Also, please let me know if you have any ideas of your own.

Remember electronic voting ends Thursday night.

Thanks,
Paul
