The part that I recall argued that different standards created a climate
where this was true of the average, and also created a stereotype that
provided that appearance of that in general. On the other hand, I've read
that same rhetoric everywhere my whole life, and mostly skipped their
"profound" realizations on affirmative action. I thought some of their
critical points on the administration was interesting.

I don't really recall the details as well as you, so I will take your word
for it. All I remembered was a critique of affirmative action and some of
the commonly argued points against it with a few slams on the
administration.

The extropians packet said that women and underrepped minorities (with a few

rare exceptions) are less intelligent and less _motivated_ than white and
asian
males (surprisingly enough, the ones who wrote the packet were a white and
an
asian male).

That anyone can read their packet and not recognize the negativity (almost
hate) towards women and minorities that the pamphlet was soaked in is
ridiculous. Most people I knew, both freshmen and uperclassmen, who read it
realized what a disgusting thing that pamphlet was.

leeAnn
who recieved that packet in the mail, getting an advanced taste of some
people's vile attitudes before even coming here
