Hi, Phillip.
I was talking to Rose this afternoon about upcoming renovations to the
coffeehouse, and learned that there's going to be a TV installed here.
At the moment, the coffeehouse is a pleasant, quiet place, and many
students come here to study, especially during the week. It's a much
nicer place to work than the 5th floor reading room, as it has a bit of
a view, and is more cheerfully decorated. Installing a TV here seems
like a bit of a waste, as the noise from it is likely to be disruptive
to people studying here, and there is already a TV available on the
second floor.
Rose suggested that I write to you about this. Do you have any
alternative plans for the coffeehouse that would be less disruptive to
students who study here?
Sincerely,
Alex.
