MIT provides a number of freedoms and opportunities for its students. One
of them is the ability to make our voices heard on Institute Committees.

Institute Committees are the decision-making and advisory committees of the
faculty and administration. They want student input. All committees
dealing with student-related issues has slots on it for graduate and
undergraduate students.

*You* can be part of this. The Undergraduate Association Nominations
Committee is now taking applications from undergraduates for more than 20
Institute Committees. But the deadline is today, Thursday, at 12pm. More
info at:

http://web.mit.edu/ua/Committees/Nomcomm/www/

The Nominations Committee is also accepting applications for the UA
Election Commission and UA Judicial Board. These two committees are
sometimes called to make difficult decisions - and you could be one of the
people making those decisions. You can apply for these committees using
the same application as for Institute Committees.

Thanks for listening,

Chris Rezek '99
Former Nominations Committee Chair
