The argument you are using is flawed. You are confusing the
issue, with what you perceive rather than with what is actually
ocurring. Currently the system Rhett and Victor have is: the first 500
people to send them e-mails get 10$. If Rhett and Victor don't get
elected they don't the 10$. There is no enforcement, and people who
don't vote and send e-mails would still get the money. This is no
different than your tax cut example. The idea that they must promise
everyone 10$ to not make it bribery is also skewed. At events where
food is offered, only those who show up first get the food. Not
everyone is entitled to the food, nor does anyone believe that
everyone should be.
