Today, between 5:30 and 6:30 pm, I observed numerous campaign
violations in Building W20, the Student Center. All of the violations
were due to postering over another valid poster or multiple
postering. The offending posters have not been removed.
I would like to file official complaints against the below-listed
campaigns for those violations. I ask that the process outlined in
the Election Code and the Rules Document to be followed, including
notice to the parties about any hearings, investigation, and
sanctions, and that sanctions be imposed on these campaigns
consistent with the Election Code.
I file this complaint because, as far as I have observed, the
Election Commission has devoted its time this election to
concentrating on one issue over which no complaint has been filed and
for which no basis exists for any complaint, rather than educating
candidates about or enforcing campaign rules for candidates who don't
threaten the UA's perceived sense of moral superiority
Only violations in W20 were observed; there exist many more
violations on campus I have not reported.
