Yeah, that would be a definite improvement over
the current system. Jeez, I wish Jamie or
Peter thought of this during their campaigns. I
would've actually voted.

Do you think so lowly of your vote that you prostitute
it for free?

So our votes appreciate in value? That's even better. I like
you're thinking, Justin.

>It was mentioned that $10 isn't all that much,

$10 =
one haircut,
more than one and a half matinee movie tickets
almost 20 regular sized candy bars
up to five meals at the food trucks
three forty ounces of malt liquer
two packs of cigarettes
a sixteenth of cheap Orange puff
one hit of ketamine
lot's of call time with 10-10-220
just over 13 rides on the MBTA bus
10 rides on the T subways
four cab rides across the bridge
five nights with two Thai hookers
monthly income per capita in some parts of Afghanistan
two titty flashes in Tijuana
one tab of 9mm Parabellum ammunition
one and a half bottles of detergent...

...shit, $10 is a lotta money!

>but where do you draw the line?

$5.

Oh enough of the slippery slopes and dangerous precedents
already. The UA is already a marginalized institution.
Anything, even bribing voters, is an improvement. Besides,
Rhett's proposal resembles a well-targeted tax rebate, not a
bribe.

So your solution is to impose anti-democratic restrictions
on campaigns in order to prevent wide-spread corruption
in student government? Let's face it. Half of the people
campaigning sell stupid jokes rather than platforms, almost
all give out candy. I'm no kindergartner, so money speaks
to me more than Snickers.

You should've thought about that before posting.

Larger principle my left nut. The larger principle here is
the Election Commission is denying access to money I rightfully
earned. All I want is money, and I'ma take it outta somebody's
ass if Rhett's victory is voided. In fact, if Rhett loses with
Judcomm the UA should compensate all those they defrauded in
this election.

The rest of your post is long and repetitive, but I think we
get the point.
