Let it be known, that

Whereas, the UA is a democratic representative government and

Whereas, the UA elections are to be held in a manner consistent with
                democracy and

Whereas, the UA Election Commission announced its decision in an email
                sent to mit-talk on Thu, 14 Mar 2002 01:41:51 -0500 that votes
for write-in candidates Creighton and Brar are not to be counted
                and

Whereas, I, Chris Cornell, class of 2003, currrently an undergraduate
class, and allowed to vote by the conditions set
forth by the UA, voted for Creighton and Brar and

Whereas, it is the duty of the UA JudBoard to defend an individual
undergraduate's voter rights with respect to UA elections,

I, Chris Cornell, hereby

Resolve that my voter rights have been violated by the aforementioned
decision by the UA Election Committee and

Resolve that the decision is a clear violation of the spirit of the
        election and

Resolve to appeal this decision by the UA Election Committee to the UA
        JudBoard.

I urge the UA JudBoard to also take the helm on this matter and look into
the reasonable assumption that there are others in my place who have had
their rights likewise violated and act in the interests of the
undergraduate voting community as a whole, as well as encouraging others
who feel their voting rights have been violated to approach you with their
concerns and appeals.
