In his recent email, Peter Schulman stated that UA accomplished, among other things, the following >>6) Lobbied (successfully) to avoid implementing a campus-wide, mandatory >>dining plan; >>... >>8) Ran "I3" CD-ROM project to showcase student residences to incoming >>freshmen over the summer, better facilitating residence selection; >>... >>15) Fought (successfully) to redefine role of (what are now) RLA's working >>in student dorms; These accomplishments were the result of hard work of various people, many of whom have nothing to do with the UA (for example, take Vikash and his petition against the mandatory meal plan, the numerous people who met with the administrators to discuss the RLAs, people contributing to the I3 CD-ROM etc.) Granted, the UA may be _organizing_ certain activities (like the I3 CD-ROM); however, claims that UA has accomplished all this are unjust and misleading.
