Considering and in the spirit of recent events, I am proud to announce
the formation of the Creighton/Brar Legal Defense Fund.

Clearly many UA consituents are dissatisfied with the Creighton/Brar
disqualification -- perhaps because the ticket was disqualified
outright rather than sanctioned, even in the face of vocal popular
support for Creighton/Brar, although there was no specific rule to
support this drastic action.

The purpose of this Fund is to ensure that, after the UA election is
over, I do not resent the smothering apathy of certain of my friends
in the face of a little opposition. Purely on this basis, and without
taking a position on the legitimacy of Creighton/Brar's tactics, I
pledge the following:

Should Creighton/Brar votes be substantially disregarded without
specific reference to established procedure or precedent, or C/B
denied a fair appeal or immediately impeached, or should
disproportionate sanctions be imposed that ignore the segment of
C/B's constituency that is 'voting its conscience' ..

.. then, I will give $1 each to the first 200 people who appear at
a location and time TBA to wave signs, shout slogans, and act
like they give a damn about it.

Contributions to the Fund are encouraged! Pledge five cents, pledge a
quarter, pledge a dollar per person and you too can buy an angry
hoard to carry your banner.

Please forward this email as appropriate.

geoff
