Isn't a "bribe" something that's motivating in-and-of itself? Of some
intrinsic value to the receiver? Is anyone who voted for the Creighton/Brar
ticket truly motivated by $10? I could be wrong, but I suspect not. I was
motivated to vote for the pair not because of any benefit that I could
possibly extract from $10, but because of my motivation to support the
energy to be different, to invent and to forward new and creative solutions.
MIT is about nothing if it is not about supporting each other's differences
and each other's creativity.
(Hacking is prized here, why? Has the Creighton/Brar ticket not effectively
"hacked" the UA's Constitution?)
