The whole point of Parul's and my platform is that the UA is not
representing its constituency well enough and needs to be revamped so that
it looks more like the GSC. I said this to the Tech in my interview with
them.
We set up a meeting with and got suggestions from Soulaymane Kachani, former
GSC President and consultant with McKinsey, about how to bring this about.
The whole "Better hear student voices" and "Increase transparency of UA
actions" sections on our platform page refers to doing this. The plan
involves trying to maintain continuity from year to year and increase
communication with the actual student communities, both to increase UA
accountability and to better express student wants and needs.
on our page we tried to show that we had a)actually gotten things done and
b)have plans for what we'd like to do.
Everybody bitches, nobody listens at this damn school. How many of you came
to the debates?

PS>buying votes is legal but damn sketchy. It's the sort of thing that
people expect from freshman elections at a community college, not from MIT.
That's just my opinion, though.
