about being carded: ditto. when i was 17 (drinking age was
18 back then in new york) i was never carded (even at sixteen).
now, i'm carded just about everywhere ('cept, thank goodness, at
my favorite drinking holes ... where they only card the twinks)
as for things to look forward to: you bet. my first real stereo
system, my first romantic relationship of any note (there have
been others, but not specifically noteworthy), and (how perfect
for the nineties) thirtysomething (in a few years)...
oh yeah; i still have to look forward to travelling southern
and eastern europe, and the soviet union (TBA, of course...)
this is all i can think of now; if 'GBH weren't having their
seemingly-weekly beg-a-thon in the background now i could probably
think of more...
