It is possible that I was wrong Harold; although not
intentionally. It has been a month or two since that
story hit the news. However, it was an appellate court
ruling, which creates binding precedence for lower courts
below that particular appellate court (or at least it would
in federal courts, about which I know more than I do about
my home state's. Oh well...). It also was getting appealed
to the Maine State Supreme Court, and that decision will
definitely create binding precedent for the entire state,
if they agree to hear the case (which they probably will).
