You want depressing?
The other night, as usual, I was feeling really down about Life, MIT,
Course VI, and 6.170, so I went to this meeting, typed 'send
-no_editor' and put in a whole screenful of unpleasantness. When I was
done, I hit ctrl-c ctrl-c to mail it, just like in RMAIL. This, of
course, nuked the entire posting.
So I summarized in a half-screenful and posted. Using ctrl-c ctrl-c.
At this point, I decided that my reflexes were trying to tell me something.
This evening I decided that the time had come to tell the rest of
coatrack about these events, so I wrote up a quarter-screenful very
much like the above and sent it off.
Yes, with ctrl-c ctrl-c.
I finally gave up and used Emacs to post.
It must mean something, though, this congenital inability to post to
coatrack.
