Social human being? Social in what sense? We seem to have some kind of
unwritten standard by which we judge our level of sociableness, and for
some reason it always involves going to parties, spending time with "glamorous"
and "interesting" people. I've tried that, I and find it's not for me.
I enjoy spending time getting soundly trounced at mboggle, or reading rec.news,
or doing other various and sundry things in front of a terminal. It is
very much one part of my social life.

I don't think there's anything wrong with this - it is one thing to be anti-
social, and quite another to be social in what is not generally considered a
social arena. It is the standards by which we measure ourselves that require
closer examination, rather than our areas of interpersonal interaction. As
for meeting a woman that will try and make you ecstatic, I can only say that
if you meet someone in an environment in which you are uncomfortable, and tey
fit in, the chances of the person being "right" for you are probably not so
good.

Stick with what you like to do.
