I don't think that Sue can't decide between Bob and Jeff. It seems
reasonably certain that she is not interested in Bob. Yes, it is true
that if she was more mature, or had more self-confidence or something
she would tell Bob this instead of assuming that he would "get the
hint". However, her going after Jeff, is in all likelihood unrelated to
Bob liking her. It is not very likely that she would just go after Jeff to
get rid of Bob. If she was going to try to get rid of Bob by going after
someone she wouldn't have gone after his friend. I would say the possibility
is extremely high that she is interested in Jeff. Now, that can easily
change, but that doesn't negate the fact that at the time she was sincere
in liking Jeff. She didn't feel, and I agree with her, that she should
have to modify her actions because Bob liked her. I agree she should tell
Bob she doesn't like him, but she doesn't have to change her like because
of someone else's feelings. Anyway, if Jeff truly likes Sue, he should
talk to bob and tell him how he feels, and says that he is going to go after
sue, he should also tell Sue to talk to Bob and let him down gently...
