Nobody understand transistors. Just memorize how they work and explain them
as "God made it that way".
There are a shitload of people dumber than you. Or else you wouldn't be at
this Fine Institution (tm). Keep repeating that to yourself.
You probably don't "not understand ANYTHING"; you probably just don't
understand EVERYTHING. The key to learning is to realise that you don't
really have to know everything about everything just after you've seen it
for the first time. I always learn more about my low level classes when
I do the same stuff for the upper level ones.
