Depressing or Angering?

On Monday night, I was walking up Mass. Ave. to the Central
Square, when a motorcycle (going the same direction) hit a
car. The motorcycle has two riders, and the driver was drunk
(I had passed him earlier). The car was a Pizza Romano (TM)
delivery vehicle. The driver of the car had a strong accent
and was clearly an immigrant.
After medical help had arrived for the only casualty (the drunk
driver) I called up the pizza place (in Central Sq.) on behalf
of the delivery driver. I told his boss that there was an
accident and the driver was concerned about legal problems. He
wanted the boss to advise him. The boss heard all this, and
made a decisive, compassionate move to protect his employee.
"I'll send another car over to pick up the pizzas."
