21 is pretty old, but at least I'm not 22 yet.

It's all down hill from 22 ...

You see, I developed this theory of ages sitting in a lounge at Next
House on my 22nd birthday:

You look forward to being 10 years old because then your age has two digits.
You look forward to being 13 years old because then you're a teenager.
You look forward to being 16 years old because then you can drive.
You look forward to being 18 years old because then you're a somewhat of
a "real person"; you can write your own notes excusing yourself from
high school classes, you can vote, you can be drafted, etc.
You look forward to being 20 years old because then you're no longer a
     teenager.
You look forward to being 21 years old because then your a "real person"
     for all legal type things.
But you don't look forward to being 22, now do you? 25? 30? 40? 50?
Nope, face it -- it's all down hill from 22 ...
