Cheerful, syntho-pop bullshit music depresses me. Or maybe it just pisses me off. Same difference. Real music doesn't depress me OR cheer me up. It has its own particular emotional response that you can't really describe at all except by playing it; like describing 'blue'. It is generally a positive response, however. -ts
