Everyone tells me that Pink Floyd is depressing music, but I've
never been able to relate to that view. I find it comforting.
I suppose *that* is depressing.
John, remember that many students take a semester off during
their 4 years. I believe 1/4th take more than 4 years to
finish, whether it be due to a leave or 9+ semesters of classes.
Maybe you should talk your situation over with one of those
dean-types. They may be able to give you some advice.
(I generally found them too "plastic", though.) A little
time away from school may be what you need, or if not, the
thought of being away from school may give you the motivation
you need. Motivation was always my biggest problem.
