Marc's point (lack of common utils) is valid. However, the perl comment
(sorry, bad session, can't recall who said it) is equally valid. And if
you buy enough MicroSquish stuff, you get some of the utilities (95 has
grep (Find in Files), albeit with no real regexp support; there is windiff
with the developer's env (which is actually a very nice improvement on
a standard util)).
Anyway, let's not confuse the OS obsolecence with lack of basic utilities.
I'll admit that NT's lack of multi-logon severely limits it, but I'd hardly
call the OS obsolete (I'd rather call it incomplete; there's always hope that
they'll concentrate on completing it rather than 95-izing it).
Just my incoherent one and a half cents.
