My account was changed from "guest" to "staff member" when I went
to work for the Media Lab last year, and now I'm an "ex-staff member"
and about to lose the account. Carla doesn't want to change the
account back to "guest" again. If you know how to get this done,
or where I can find a sponsor, I'd appreciate it.
(Maybe I should stand outside Lobby 7 with a little cardboard
sign, "Will work for Athena access")
I don't think it's directly related to my net.activism. If MIT wanted
to terminate the account for that reason, they could have done it
months ago. I've just been swept up in a general purge of old
accounts, and my previous sponsors (Dan Geer and Ralph Swick) aren't
around any more to help me out.
