Well, you made about better than we did.
Our house was robbed on Friday night. The thief kicked in two locked
doors (for historical reasons one interior door has a deadbolt),
damaging both frames. He then stole about $3.5k worth of stuff.
The really infuriating part is that we have tenant's insurance but
were misled by the agent about some of the fine print when we bought
it, so it turns out we're only going to get about $1.75k back.
Grrrrr.
