If you get C's in everything, you can still pass everything the first time
arond and not spend extra terms doing it. I don't think employers in most
fields look at grades (programming, for instance -- for medicine and law,
as examples, grades count more).

I used to care how well I didn in my classes, till somewhere around the
middle of my sophomore year. Personal pride kept me going a bit longer.
