[For those who've been out of town or otherwise oblivious in the last few days,
Thinking Machines just declared bankruptcy and laid off a lot of people.]
What a loss. Clearly the company did some things wrong, but it's a shame to
see it all fall apart like that -- the technology was really interesting, and
they had a lot of good things going for them.
It's kind of sad to finger some old friends there and find that they no longer
have accounts there; presumably they lost their jobs.
