i didn't use mine all year, and now i think it's shrivelled up into a
little ball and fallen down behind the fridge or something, assuming no
one just took it with them when they left after graduating. i tried to
use it today, and it was gone, all the normal connections don't go
anywhere, the ends just flap around loosely and say over and over, "no,
it's not your imagination, no it's not post-final freakout, you really
truly lack the ability to create new and original things, you lost your
chance, stop trying."
it doesn't help that a friend of mine, who's nineteen, just sold two
books. that should probably go into ping, but i'm too busy being
depressed.
