The latest 6.004 problem set has finally finished me off. After several
hours, I finally got #2 to work and #3 is left not working, even though it
looks like it should. I looked at #4 and felt utterly demoralized, so
that's punted.
Not too bad; it's only, hmm, a little less than 9 hours late. 14, if you
wanted to hand it with everyone else in my section.
For awhile, i hoped that i'd be smart enough to survive once i got into the
major i wanted.
Now i just need to survive half of my classes in my major.
And while it's a consolation to my emotions that everyone else is burned
out as well (well, except for my friends who are just brilliant, are doing
well, have lives, and are minoring or double-majoring in everything), it
doesn't help my grades any.
At least the 6.004 lab schedule has been relaxed. And Andrea arrives in
<210 hours. :) Hopefully i won't snap before then.
Oh, and i don't have a summer job. :> It's fun being stupid... but i
should stop whining and get sleep so i can go to lecture, so i'll wrap up
this bought of self-pity. :)
