Well, here's an update:
My landlord came over last night and was very upset. So this
morning he came back with the contractors (I think the two
men he came with are partners). They both apologised, and
one of them added, ``My sister is Orthodox, so I understand
how upsetting this must be.''
They're going to quiz the workers about exactly what they ate
and what dishes, silverware, and appliances they used. And they
offered to send over some people to help with my Pesach cleaning.
I said that I had already done most of it, and they said that
I should call them next year, then.
*sigh* AT least it didn't snow this morning...
