everyone I know, it seems, has a Hellish exam or midterm today.
Bleah. I, personally, failed the test I mentioned Monday... failed
amazingly. Failed disgustingly. I walked out after 15 minutes,
telling the TA "I'm sorry, I can't do this."
Oh well. Maybe next year.
I think I'll convince my parents to let me keep going here. It's
pointless to say, "I'll go to another school with less competition and
easier classes so I can do what I did in high school and keep my
grades up."
I saw a fortune yesterday that said, "Genius does what it must, Talent
does what it can." I think I understand... unfortunately, I only
have talent... Bleah. It's what I did in high school... enough to
get me here, but not beyond.
So the question is, will going somewhere closer to home be good for
me, or have no effect?
This obviously belongs in other_thoughts... except that it's sort of a
followup to my other post.
