getting sick

102 fever at the end of the day after the 1st day of 6A interviews...
and before the 2nd day.
calling up to tell them i can't make it. :(
having a friend advise me to call them and ask if I could get in touch
with the companies i wanted to interview by phone... well, thank
goodness for good friends and secretaries. now i just have to worry about
this stuff for another 2 wks....
finding out lots of stuff is sitting there in all sorts of places waiting
for me while i was sick. argh. and i spent at least 1/4 the time i was sick
sitting in bed doing problem sets.
