Just when I was almost caught up...

..after several weeks of hell, I came home from rehearsal last night
to discover that I now had a lovely multi-colored decorative waterfall
in my kitchen.
It wasn't all bad, I guess. I got to sleep by 1:30, and the icky color
turned out to be garbage-disposed cabbage, since the pipe broke about two
inches before the joint with the toilet waste line (these are from the
-- and other good stuff: it missed my television by three or four
inches, and I'm going to get a new ceiling and floor (since they're
both ruined), and they're only charging me half a normal month's
rent for March.
Now, if I could only shake the horrible fear that my cough and
fever are going to turn into the killer illness from hell that
everyone else seems to have, I'd be happy.
