Dead battery woes

My car wouldn't start this morning. I just got a new battery for it
last year -- and it's gonzo already. The last time it died (a couple of
weeks ago), I was stranded in the parking lot of the Registry of Motor
Vehicles in Lawrence. Today, I'm stuck at home. If I were to jump it
from my wife's car, I'm _betting_ it'd leave me stuck at MIT later on.
All dressed up and nowhere to go...
