Soul searching et. al.

Andrew's dissertation is pretty depressing and I'm not
in the habit of playing ``top this'' but imagine if you
will, being in the position of having realized what Andrew
has, only ten years later... at age 30. (Nobody I know,
of course, just myself).

I have to chime in and agree with others who have counseled
Andrew not to go radical. Change is a gradual process, especially
when you're trying to find yourself, to be able to be yourself.
Sure, try things as you feel comfortable about them but as others
have said, don't be afraid to throw out an idea which isn't working.

I've been working on my troubles for a few YEARS now and am
frustrated by how slow progress can be, but looking back, progress
has take place and I am happier. I am getting closer to breaking
out of a place I don't want to be.

Go at it but don't hurry.
