...so here I am last night, really enjoying my ride from Belmont to
Somerville -- it's a really nice night, people are out walking around,
cooking stuff on grills, the stars are coming out, all that stuff.
I pull onto Mass Ave in Arlington, and I'm zipping along (now, mind
you, I'm being a Good Biking Doobee, I've got light colored clothing
on, front and rear lights, and reflective ankle thingies on, I stop
at lights and all that) and a station wagon full of idiotic Somerville
youths pulls by and several of them lean out of the windows and
scream "Get off the #*$(@# road!" right in my ear, all the while
driving a bit too close to me for my comfort. They then zoomed off,
leaving me pedalling along.
Sigh. Why are people so...nasty?
