Just for the record... I saw a small article in the Boston Globe yesterday
that said that a 5-year-old boy had *almost* drowned at Walden Pond the
other day, that he was revived by paramedics, and was taken via ambulance
to a hospital in Concord. My bet is that this is the same incident you
described, jik, given the likelihood of the same sort of thing happening
twice in one day with only one of them being reported.
The Globe did say that the kid was recovering OK.
