On the other hand, in places not as rigorous as MIT:
A number of years ago, a friend of mine was accepted at a small school
in NJ, just about one notch up from a county college. She'd planned
to begin classes with the Spring semester, but the school got confused
and enrolled her in a the required frosh set of fall term courses.
Didn't attend classes? Hell, she didn't know she'd been *enrolled*!
She got a C, two Ds, and an F.
