Quite a weekend...
1) Saturday I went on my first bike ride. I got sick. I'm not in shape
for hills, and even in my granny gear I don't have the strength. I also had
too much orange juice in my drink mixture and not enough food in the
stomach.
2) Sunday I was putting my AC in, and I dropped it through the window (onto
the lawn 6' below). It may or may not be beyond repair. I was hoping for
a relaxing afternoon, since my next N weekends are busy, but no such luck
I did find a reasonable one at Sears (!).
3) I put my laundry in the dryer yesterday just before shopping for (2), but
I forgot to turn it on.
4) I forgot my viola for my lesson this morning. I was getting out of my
car in Hahvahd Square when I realized that. At least I didn't drop *THAT*
practicing (if it can be called that...) last night.
5) (not really connected) Our second concert (I'm in the Belmont Sinfonia!)
is in jeopardy. The church we rehearse and perform in has kicked us out.
The first concert's this Sunday in Malden (I don't have the exact location,
since it's in my case, see (4), but it's at 4 PM at some Methodist Church).
I want to play the second concert (June 7), because we're playing Beethoven's
First, and that will be fun.
All in all, not a very relaxing weekend like I was hoping for...so I'm dead
tired right now...
