this is the second damn time i've had to cancel a previous committment with
andrea because i couldn't get this stupid #*(&ing 6.001 problem set done.
i'm only taking two classes, but no, the 6.001 psets are so poorly written
that i typcially spend half my time just figuring out what they're saying,
and the other half learning Scheme the hard way. conceptually, they're
usually not that bad. but naturally, this is MIT, so the point of the
course is not to actually learn anything...
