The day before yesterday, I took a friend (who's been depressed for a while,
and talking to a few of us about some problems) over to the Med Center
because of talk about suicide. Yesterday, after we talked with doctors, I
took this same friend over to McLean Hospital for involuntary commitment.
Today is Valentine's Day, and I'm unattached. Not really interested in
anyone...except maybe one or two who are quite attached. Tomorrow is one
year after the start of my last relationship.
Sunday is a friend's birthday party; I'm supposed to be cheerful after stuff
like this? Monday, I've a minor deadline at work; I haven't been able to
accomplish much for the last couple days or so.
The last couple of days have been a very draining week; can't I take a few
days off before dealing with the rest?
