Surprisingly, even the sportswriters are taking her side.
Although coverage bringsp an interesting trait in sportswriters...
Whenever a sports figure gets involved in a "real world" situation,
the sportswriters always feel guilty that what they normally write
about is trivial in the grand scheme of things and suddenly develop
inferiority complexes wrt "regular" columnists. They'll all then
pathetically wax philosophically for awhile, eventually going
back to their normal writing.
This happens every single time something like this happens.
If it didn't so often involve sad situations, it would be funny.
